I wonder how many of us are using our turbo dryers for other things today!!! too right....theyre all over the house!!! ;D

Your rite. Definitely dont use mine for carpet cleaning. Biggest waste of money  when i started, was buying 1 of those. Been carrying it round for years in van. Finally put it in storage last week.

I use my turbo dryer whenever I clean a suite (two or three times week at least). Not only do the clients love it because I take the trouble to dry their suite, so that they can use it straight away, but also some fabrics are sensitive to being wet for too long - so I get them dry before they go pear shaped. Actually, they don't change shape to that of a pear, but you know what I mean.

turbo dryers are a must on upholstery, stop being so bloody lazy and get it out your van  ;D

there good at keeping you cool in this weather, it's all the custy wants is to see sweat dripping off you while working

I cleaned a V dirty night club a while ago and left three T/D's in there to dri it out, happened to go in there that night and found them tied to the ceiling to keep the place cool  :o :o :o

i have ben taking mine for some time on to my other business painting and decorating. its amazing how it dries paint and allows me to work that much quicker

Have tried using turbo dryers but the problems with dust, cob webs and all sorts being blown around is incredible. Apart from falling ornaments and pictures. And I've spoken to many other companies who agree. I'm one of the normal blokes who dont take 4 to 5 hourd to clean a suite and only charge about £100. Its called the real world.

Hi,
Anyone used the power-flite air mover from amtech  ??? it claims to dry a room in 15 mins
through downdraft - it looks and sounds good  :-\

Doug they work fine on open empty rooms but in normal circumstances when furniture etc deflects the air movement then all areas dont get covered and dried.

Its a good concept though.

These down draft fans are really designed for whats termed top down drying in water damage cases. Basically as much water as possible is extracted from the carpet and underlay rather than uplifting it, usually using a water claw device. Then it is dried out in situ.

I use downdraft fans all the time,Ifind them more versatile in that you can downdraft,turn them on there sides or lean them back to blow upwards,like  a staircase.There not as powerfull but do have a telescopic handle and wheels for transporting to and from the van.they stack on top of each other as the wheels are easily detachable.I definitly recommend them.
