Title: Uni valve with ‘tubeless’ setup
Post by: zesty on December 28, 2021, 03:59:48 pm
Never used a univalve, as I use the wfp link, but it’s starting to become unreliable. (Trouble free for years and years)

I use a tubeless setup, so pole hose on the reel, then a John guest push fit straight connector to the short pole hose sticking out the end of the pole.

Question is, does the uni valve need a real tug to get it to work? If so, I’m concerned it’ll pull my john guest fitting apart before the uni valve is engaged…

I have push fit straight connectors either side of my Univalve in order to make it quick release and it works fine.
