But I thought you prefer to work in these type of conditions and take time off when the weather is better?

Quite like cleaning in the rain tbh, rather that than red hot sun.

I decided to take the week off before I knew about the weather...it just happens to be a week full of awful weather.....I don't think I'd work in the torrential rain we ve had here today anyway...no chance... ;D

It was torrential rain here from 10am onwards as I could see it from my window (as I was drumming away in complete bliss!)it cleared up around 130pm

To be fair it was bad this morning, torrential....i had to  call it a day after doing just a few houses.

If anyone is interested i then went to the local window cleaning suppliers and bought an slx 25 along with an unger scrim and some fittings. Then i went home for a sandwich before getting changed and heading to Go outdoors. I looked at some ridiculously expensive water proofs before ultimately deciding i didnt really need any and a purchase would have been out of pure boredom. Finally i went to morrisons and bought some beef with which i have just cooked a curry.

I then went home and as the rain cleared i kicked myself for not just cracking on with it.

You’re just trying to justify having a day off and missing out on £300 turnover like loads do on here Daz. It wasn’t raining and you know it  ;D

I have had 2 record days so far this week and the gortex  jacket hasn't come out once.
What awful weather?
