Title: Black stain on wall after electric spark on wall socket

Hi all,

Am struggling a little wit this.
In one of my sites, a bad wall socket has caused a spark and trip off and a black stain has cover all around the socket. The wall is white, any ideas on how to clean this black stain off?
All ideas are welcome  very much appreciated.

White vinegar and scrub brush - turn off the electric
