What a day
I had my daily routine down to a tee , get the kids breaky
get my coffee , go out to the garage fill the car for the days work @ 8am then back in to clean up after the kids 8.30 off to school
Not today Huh fill the car as usual then at 8.30 all in the car ready for school car wont start S**t
10.00 finally got a guy to come and drag it in to the garage, was starting to think maybe this'll be another lost day when the guys says take the loaner you'll be without a car wont you , now its only a volvo 440 not a patch on my 850 estate air con elec windows etc but its a car to get me around
10.30 back home washed the loaner (it was a bit grubby)
then it dawns on me use the trolley as a trolley again (was previously using it as a van mount) and fill the 25l drums and hey prestow
11.00 were off
salvaged the day 8 jobs done £110
14.45 back home
not to bad for a lost day
If I had taken apart the trolley as i was going to that would all have been in a van at the garage
If i ever get it all in a van it'll have to come with Sureflow backpack

only question, if you can do £110 in 3 hours 45 why are you not running a nice pro van, personally i would like to see all cleaners looking as pro as any other business, then we all have a better image and also better prices, only my opinion and not intended as an insult

I'm still relatively new at this game only 18 months so far, but getting there steadily
There's lots of things i'd like but they all take time and a little more money than i have at present

Trolleys are so useful to have aren't they? A couple of times I've been able to continue working when things went wrong with a van mount. I flattened my van battery the other week (left lights on) and even used the trolley to jump start my van.

me too only been going 15 months but felt a van was a must right from the start i now have around 200 customer now and have not leafletted for the last 4 months and work is still coming, although i must admit that i also do some carpet cleaning and upvc cleaning, that keeps me going. I don't know what your areas like for pricing but is pretty good here really it has suprised me how quickly you go from say £50 quid any working day to £100 and so on and how work comes in areas you are working makes so much difference at least in this job you can be as flex as you like
good luck simb0
