Myself and a friend want to start a wheely bin collection company and we have few questions
How much does it cost for a van that we can modify to put a cleaning system in place and what size van should we be looking at? Is there a common make and model that works well?
What are reliable companys to modify it with a cleaning system, and a hooking system to tip the bins inside with a spraying system? How much are we talking for these modifications? Roughly
What is done with the waste water and rubbish at the end of the day? Is there a licence needed for that to get rid of?
Do you need a licence to do wheely bin collection?
To start off with a van, hooking /spraying system and other necessity water tank etc (what else would be needed?)what budget are we talking? Roughly
Thanks in advance

I'd have thought a trailer would be a better option

yes you do
waste carriers licence and you need to dispose of it at a proper site - see your local council

Were looking at a van to modify darran, that looks on the small side the trailer

I have no idea of sizes - I casually looked at adding this service a few years back - to me wasn't worth the investment to return
around here we have VIP bin - he uses a trailer and charges £2.50 a clean
I do believe a good set up recycles the water so no need for a massive van - besides what happens when you spend say £4k converting a van and the biz doesn't work out or your friend walks away from the deal and you try to re sell a converted specialised van instead of a standard van
