Title: stiff brushes
Post by: Richy essex on July 15, 2021, 09:27:07 am
hi all

Does anyone use a stiff brush with cold water ?
Can a stiff brush help with stubborn marks on glass
i know they are meant for hot water or is it juts a personal preference thing.
I wish ish to purchase a cill brush i like the look of the extreme medium cill but unfortunately for me it’s out of stock .

If you use cold water I would stay away from stiff brushes on very dirty windows if you clean them as you would normally do with a softer brush they can look like someone with long nails has run them through the dirt and missed patches in certain parts of the glass,it’s easier  to judge the results of a brush from inside a job it can be an eye opener.

I’ve tried stiff brushes with cold.  They don’t feel good on the glass , don’t last longer and don’t clean as well

I wouldn’t bother using a stiff brush with cold water the only thing it may do a job on is plastic weatherboard, the stiff brushes clean well where the plastic joins.
