Hi all just picked a nice job up but on the conservatory which is wood they have removed some masking tape from around the frames and left horrible marks any ideas what to use to remove them thanks andy

First I would try white vinegar
Then move onto acetone
it would help if you can use a scraper
Darran

I've used bronze wool in the past for this sort of thing.... Spray a bit of water on the area beforehand.

if its on the glass then a decent scraper with a fresh blade(i use a 4in unger ninja)once you ve soaped up the glass will get it off with ease.....
if the marks are on the frames id use sticky stuff remover from b and q and a non scratch scourer...ive always got a bottle in the van....

Personally I wouldn't get involved in removing the marks, reason being if you scratch the glass you then have to replace it

Try a flash magic eraser they work a treat on most stubborn marks and don't scratch the glass :)
