Hi all any idea of the best way to connect pole hose to reel hose as I’ve been using circlips and r a pain on the hose as they catch your hands when reeling in thanks andy

You mean o clips?
These are usually the best way - you can always wrap a bit of tape around them - personally I've never caught my hands on them

I just use oversized ‘reducers’
I.e a 7mm barb for the pole hose into a 10mm barb for the main hose. So a ‘10mm-7mm barb reducer’ on eBay or wherever.
Because they are so oversized you don’t need any clips. You just put the end of the hose in boiling water to get them on, and once cooled, they are set and stuck. I’ve done it for years and never had an issue, means there isn’t any clips to catch on things/hands.
I can’t actaully remember what sizes I used, I just made sure it was oversized by a fair way.

I do the same but it's a pita when you need to replace one when you're out working and you don't have a kettle of boiling water in the van!
