Title: Removing fly mesh window net glue/adhesive from UPVC

Please see the photo attached to this post.

This has been there for around two years.

I have tried applying WD-40 for a few minutes before attempting to scratch away with kitchen roll and my fingernails but it's not budged.

Any ideas?

I would try a UPVC solvent cleaner like glassing  firms use that will remove most things .

Also maybe Sticky Stuff Remover worth a try.

Tar and glue remover from clover chemicals will remove this no probs
