Hi all anybody work out of a pick up and any photos would help thanks andy

This is mine and I love it. I’ve been working from a van for the last two week as mine is At fords waiting for the slave cylinder to be replaced and I much prefer my pickup. Not everyone’s cup of tea but I wouldn’t change mine.

Very nice.
Unless it's a 2.0, beware the oil pump.

Yeah it’s. 2.2, but still under extended warrenty, when that comes to an end it will be straight in the garage having it replaced for gear oil pump.

my bugbear would be not having the poles neat and tidy in their own pole tubes. ;D
good set up though and theres more space than i thought....its great that you can fit a 500L tank in there as thats the minimum size tank for me for a short day at work.....
-
If all you do is window cleaning, it’s plausible.
But if you ever need to get anything else in there, no chance...
Pressure washer, softwash machine etc, you need a van.

500 litres for a short day at work?
That lasts me most of the day on compact work and I run at 80 on flow control.

That's why I have two :D
My 7x5 trailer carries my gutter vac and steam cleaner and the trucks easily manage the WFP.
I use the Rangers for all sorts of things and they've worked brilliantly for a decade.

Just sold my navara
They work absolutely fine and if you need 1 vehicle for work and family they are ideal. They carry weight much better than a van but limited on tank size, i reckon 650l is about as big as you can go so no good for 2 man setup.
The only downside to them is they are big, so more awkward to park than a van.
Reason i got rid of mine is because it was getting knocked about, scratched and chipped etc especially round the tailgate. Gone back to an old van that i dont care about.
I will be getting another pick up soon as i love them but will have a van for work as well

Nice video Lee. Love the setup.

I had a ranger 2.5 super cab with a truckman canopy. Best work vehicle I'd owned. Alas , sold it due to parking issues on much of my round and didn't fit on driveway when we moved house 😔

this is the best option.....having a dedicated work vehicle just for work is ideal...both for expenses/tax reasons and to keep your work/leisure time separate......
i love driving my nice, clean car when im not working after driving a van with half a ton of water in the back all week... ;D

I use both pickups for work and have something old and Italian to drive when I'm not working.
Problem is that the school run is usually in one of the trucks as I'm on my way to work and I now haven't really driven the car in about five months.
I'm starting to question if I actually need it.
