Title: Employees vs Franchisee

Hi all. I have one employee already, young lad, very hard worker, wouldn’t be without him! I have a good friend who has just been made redundant and has asked if I’d be interested in taking him on/franchising him. He is coming from a very highly paid job but is sick of the rat race.
Not sure of the set up cost involved in franchising him but was thinking he could probably earn more himself that way as he likes to put a few hours in when it comes to work, so we’d both benefit? Looking for advice from anyone who has done both before?
