Hi
How many different levels of cleaning are there ?
I'm basing this on price ,so for a single lounge 12 x 12.
So from splash & dash to the more proffesional, clean only £15, then £30, then £40, then £50 & finally £60. Anyone charge more.
Then there would be Clean & Protect, Clean & Dustmite Protect, Clean & Anti Allergy.

There are too many to choose, it would blind you and your customers if you offered them all.
Imagine cleaning at your own prices and then adding packages, 1. your own 2. clean and sanitize 3. we move furniture 4. clean and force dry 5. dry clean 6. clean and anti static 7. clean and dye 8. clean and protect 9. all of the lot.
Imagine that 10 fold with valeting machine up to TM the list is as endless as you want.

Average lounge anywere from £10 to £100 depending on quality of service, the area your in and how greedy the cleaner is ;D

Totally agree with Shaun. The price to charge for a service, is what the market will pay, but if you're in a competetive market, you need to give your prospect a reason to use you, rather than x,y or z.
Find out what they want, their expectations, against the condition of the carpet.
The size you're quoting, is a very small room and should take no more than 40 - 45 minutes, including, setting up and repacking, so, in my world, it would be a " minimum charge" job, of £35, which is my target, hourly rate.
Even the Franchised people, with their high overheads, would not charge more than £70 - £80 for a small room.

Hi
I didnt phrase it very well, what i ment was how many different price levels are there for the same job.
Obviously every price level is to a different standard.
Dave
PS My guess is 7 just to clean.

depends what you mean by 'price level'? £10 ? or £1.00 in which case could be hundreds, ie. £30, £31, £34
would it not be easier to ask the two extremities. ie £15 - £90

Hi
Each client gets my one level of service

Hi Guys,
I'm with Martin on this one, when people say can you just give it a quick going over I explain the quality of my work and how a quickie is not possible.
They either book for a proper job or don't and if they want a rubbish job there are plenty who will oblige ;)
Cheers
