Hi all
I'm tempted to get a couple more sections for my pole. Has any one else used the pole with 12 sections? I've used it with 10 quite a lot so i suppose 2 more wont affect it that much will it?
Cheers

12 sections :o
I didn't know you could get that many for it?
I use the unger tele plus 5 section which will reach 30ft.

It's the carbon tec hi flo water fed pole I mean mate

Oh sorry :-[

Wats the weight of each section ?
-
Not sure what the weight is per section but at 55' it is no problem weight wise, I was just unsure about whether the joints would be under more stress and there will be quite a bit more bending of the pole with another 2 sections.

I found with the unger alu at 8.5 sections it wanted to come back down to earth once you had passed the critical point..and it did so permanately bending a No4 sections.
I think you will get a "feel" for when you are too high and the pole starts to get a mind of its own. It wasnt so important with the alu as the sections were cheap but perhaps not so with the carbontec. Why not ask Unger direct I am pretty sure they will have tested it to destruction.
I would say that if the bend in the pole is getting close to touching the wall then thats the optimum height-just a guess to try and help. Or if the bends start to bend in a different direction all by themselves, you are at critical point. But I havent even had hands on one of them ::)
Maybe just for testing you could get the help of two others with lines tied near the top to prevent side slip.

hi Chri
Iam so green the nearest I have come to it is to lovingly stroke it in my suppliers showroom not keen on the brush or the case looks a bit flimsey for the price but the poles ! :-* :-*I want one
cant justify the cots but might go for a few sections at time how are you finding it

Hi Grant
The poles great but then again I cannot compare it to any other pole as this is the only one I've used as I only bought the pole and system recently. It can be a bit of a $%^& dragging the trolley around with you but if you don't you end up with sections all over the place and they are not cheap to replace. It also came with only a tiny little brush so had to buy a bigger one from unger as I'm not sure if any other brush head will fit? Maybe somebody will let me know if I can fit a cheaper brush to the pole.
