Title: HSE
Post by: simon w on March 26, 2021, 12:29:38 pm
Anyone else getting phone calls from an organisation working on behalf of the HSE asking questions about your working practices during covid?  Just had the call but refused to take it as I was in the middle of a job and for me not a covienient time to take it. I asked that they don't phone me but use email as I hadn't given them my number or permission to call me.

I’d have done the same tbh. Think there was a post on here recently about this.

Not if you know how to drive them😉...I Could have come down to the C43 which is AWD but it didn’t make me go week at the knees like the C63 did😁

Is the C63 the successor to the CLK?

No the C63 is the 4.0litre sports version of the C class, the older C63 was a 6.2 litre😲

We have one in the family.

It's a non-turbo, older version in 6.2 AMG V8 coupe form.

Lovely😍. That’s the W204 C63, which as you say has the 6.2 litre V8 engine,  the latest version is the W205 C63 which has a 4.0 litre V8 twin turbo engine.

Yes, I saw that when I was looking for a picture. I take it it's to make it more polar bear friendly?
Thanks for the W number too. I get lost after the W209 CLK now.

One of my customers has an AMG 63 GTR, which I believe were used as pace cars? Is that right?

Not a clue mate, only started researching the C63 a few weeks ago........anyway it looks like somebody’s annoyed with all the car talk.........Moderators feel free to move it to the clique section😁

I had a SLK 55 AMG 7-8 years ago it was quick but not silly quick, horrible to drive at low speeds round town etc but you can’t beat the sound of a V8. These days the 5 cylinder Audi is about as close as you’ll get with these new exhausts unless you upgrade and I can’t stand all those pops and bangs, drives me mad all that.

I wasn’t being serious Daz, I would never use a brush to wash a car, swirl marks galore, and the very hot water won’t be doing it any favours either.

Not it wouldn’t very hot water  if you are serious about cars and keeping it clean you want to ceramic coat at least the front end wheels and callipers etc,add a grand to the car Daz 🤣🤣

i dont care....i only have mine for 3 years then get another brand new one...my last golf had swirl marks all over it too in bright sunlight after 3 years of cleaning it with wfp every week.....i just hand it back to the leasing company(they dont charge you for swirl marks or a few scratches here and there  :))

Swirl marks and a few scratches here and there come under 'fair wear and tear' with leasing companies....its not a problem..they are easily buffed out with the right gear....

I wfp my van every week so wfp my car at the same time too....

So what do you guys use to clean your Van's and cars?I couldn't be bothered to clean them by hand...

WFP when it's just a bit grubby and a diesel steam / hot water cleaner when it isn't.

No it doesn't....pure water has no effect whatsoever on chrome.....never had a problem in 11 years of cleaning vehicles with wfp...👍🙂
