Hi all any body use a tubless set up with this pole and how to do it thanks andy
-
yes.
The univalve does not fit inside section 1 so you need measure the pole hose to fit the univalve at the bottom of this section then another piece of pole hose to stick out the end of the pole by an inch.
Th problem comes with the rectus and the shape of the pole. the ejector sleeve does not fit inside the hole - I tried putting flats on it to match the pole profile but it was still a crappy fit - so I did away with rectus fitting and used a straight pnumatic fitting then pole hose to the reel
hope this makes sense - if not I'll do you some piccy's

Hi yes some pics will be good thanks andy
-
OK
-
Go on YouTube m8 Squeaky clean Dave will show you how it’s done.
-
thats a standard set up Nigel - not tubeless - altho very similar you just cut the pole hose to the end of the pole and use a connector there

Oh ok sorry I thought he was fitting a univalve.
-
thats ok Nigel - it is but he wants it tubeless as well - I made mine 'tubeless' in regards that when you disconnect you don't have trailing pole hose - you can't do tubeless like an slx with a rectus 21 setup
but the fitting method you pointed out is spot on

In photo one you will see we turn section 1 180 degrees this puts the clamp on the opposite side to the rest and you don't accidentally pull out the goose neck
