Hi guys,
I've searched for the answer but can't seem to find it: Can I use the Univalve with Lite 5-type braided pole hose? I know it will fit in terms of hose ID but what about the very slight stretchiness of the hose? Does it affect operation?
Cheers

That pole hose is very stretchy so not the best for univalve

I've had this hose on one of the poles for the past 10 years - maybe longer.

It is stiff and needs to be spun out each time you connect up to stop it creating a birds nest at the bottom of the pole when extending the pole. It doesn't take long.
I have also got a new Gardiner pole and ordered this green PU hose. I used the pole a few times and it seems fine.

Do order quick connectors to enable you to remove the Univalve quickly when you need to - such as fitting an additional base section.
