Just filled in my tax return and it’s suggesting an obscene amount...
But underneath it says it doesn’t take into account payments on account from last year.
It doesn’t tell me what I’ll actually owe.
Is there any way of knowing what I’ll owe before I submit it?!!

It will adjust in a few days, but give them a ring if it doesn’t as you’ve only got a few days before payment is due.
If you deduct what you paid in July last year, that should give you your total amount for jan to be paid.
