Just noticed that Gardiner Poles are no longer selling Reel hose Microbore or Minibore. I have been using Microbore 6mm ID 11.5mm OD.
Also they are no longer selling Tulsion Resin.
Can anyone recommend any other suppliers?

Purefreedom braided 6mm id, best reel hose I’ve used.

Daqua and Grippatank sell the same stuff Gardiners have stopped selling

Some people have found it shrinks by up to 10% of its length I know a couple of people that have had this problem.
-
I get that this weather. Hose has been fine though.
How can you possibly lose ten metres of hose ::)roll
-
Circuit hydraulics on eBay for the microbore

Is that the red braided hose they sell? Will have to give it a go. Looks decent.

No idear but pf know there is a problem with some of it as they have replaced quite a bit of it , after all it’s plastic and plastic does shrink in certain circumstances

I have Microbore from window cleaning warehouse on my reel at the moment and have had flow problems in the colder weather unless running just hot, first thing in the morning if it’s so cold outside really hot water isn’t an option for the first couple of hours this hose really seems to contract restricting the flow shutting the pump on and off,hot water no problem it must be slightly narrower than the usual.

Daqua for resin...based in Scotland but still next day delivery in W Yorks.
-
And recommended by Gardiner.

Sounds like your system needs tweaking.
My valves adjust from warm - piping hot.
I just turn mine down to minimum first thing if it’s frosty.
-
M8 if I turn mine down to minimum it’s still very hot.

If you order today from Grippa you should get it before 2022.

And even then only half of the order will be correct. You’ll get a lovely long email full of excuses aswell.

Worst company I've ever had the misfortune to buy from.

You lot are too cynical ;D
Spend 5k like “yo da man” and they treat you like royalty - telling you they are experts at everything hot - you’ll lap it up like a puppy dog ;D ;D

unbelievable!...........fancy buying a hot system and not be able to use it on a freezing cold day..........i use mine on full power all year round no matter what the ambient temperature is.....
in fact you want your heater to be working at full power on cold frosty days because you lose so much heat from the hose when you have 100m off the reel on frosty ground....its only warm at the brush head anyway in very cold conditions which is ideal or you d be cracking glass left, right and centre! :o ;D

You lose heat you mean I don’t seem to lose much at all.

the difference will be is if you have 2 pumps (with one always diverting hot water back to the van tank at all times)...also did you not ask oliver to tweak your heater to make it produce the hottest water?
i only have one pump

on topic i use the red hose from pure freedom......ive had it a few years now....ive had to cut off a few metres due to wear and tear over the years and the outside casing has started to split in a few places...its ok though...i do have another 100m of it on my spare cox reel so i think ill change it sometime in the new year.....
do any of you guys change the hose round to even out the wear a bit?as the last 20 metres on my reel is in much better condition than the first 20m!
-
I only have 1 pump I walk back to van and plug into the hose I have next to my hose reel to divert back to tank,on the minimum heat setting it’s still very hot you may lose a lot on cold ground but although I must do it doesn’t seem to be a huge amount at the brush.

Yes turning the hose round after a year will give it a longer life I have just done mine when I fitted the new reels

Thought you had the 9 kw two man system ?...
-
Yes Daz - after a couple of years turn the hose around

I do have the 2 man 9kw system I have a hose next to the reel put there by Oliver so I can heat back to tank.
