Title: Hose clogging in pipe when using pressure washer to clear blockage
Post by: Ryan Tyler on December 06, 2020, 08:44:32 am
Morning all,

I'm working on a commercial job and we need to clear a blocked downpipe around 8-10 metres high.  Diameter of the pipe is 3 inches, we can't access from above but there is an access panel built into the downpipe at ground level. We've purchased the drain unblocker attachment for our pressure washer but when we start sending the hose up, the metal tip  gets caught on the joining sections of the pipe where the diameter is smaller. For the first 2-3 metres we can wiggle the hose to get the head past it but after that it's harde to control and can't get the tip to move any higher.

Has anyone else had this problem or have any tips to make it work?
