Just wondering if anymore has used a SEO company to generate more through website and google ?

In wondering is it worth or not ?

It's not. They are con artists. If you want to pay for placement on Google, pay Google.

There are some good ones out there but lots of chances who will promise the earth, charge for it and give nothing.
If anyone promises to get you on page 1 don't touch them as only Google can do that.
Have a look at your competitors and who does their Web sites. Then contact those companies who got them into top positions.
Seo is something that takes time to take effect so don't expect quick returns.
