Maybe refit all the joints and connections in the right order, otherwise maybe the RO cartridge is duff.

Chris

his pressure is about 40, but he says it was fine for 6 - 7 months

it doesnt add up

surely the RO isnt dead after 9 months

HI Matt.

Does he flush regular, also Kirsty from Gardeners said to me about changing filters every 4-6 months, if i remember right the 3 were only about £20. May be his filters need changing.

change the filters!!  The prefilter needs changed once a month and the carbon block every 2 months or before, the membranes could b damaged now if chlorine has got into the membranes

If it's a reading from one of those 'orrible cheap in-line tds meters it might be worth checking against another meter.

So how come they're a lot more expensive than handhelds?
