Roads quieter where I am today, but it’s not a bad thing, economy needs to move a bit at the least...

Definitely quieter here. People around, but outside of the rush hour the roads are much quieter.

Got up at the normal time. Dropped the kids off at school. Went to work.

Had to do a cheeky manoeuvre on Powick island yesterday as there was a silly amount of traffic. Queuing on Powick island this morning. It had been a lot quieter over the last few months. Motorway has been running freely thankfully. Air ambulance was in the field between Norton island and the Ketch this afternoon. Looks like a one of the workers on that new site got injured.

They already know your turnover; that's what they based the grants on.

Meanwhile, handjob hands out another £350 mil to Randox, the same company who keep making an arse of the test, trace and isolate system.

You think they'd get it sorted so that people might be able to go The Grand National that they sponsor.

How would the bank know my turnover?

How would the bank know my turnover?

That’s my thoughts exactly.

ZERO checks were done. I know loads that have applied and got the full £50k (some on multiple businesses) on self certs that turnover nowhere near £200k.

Once the media got onto the fact that the first stage of government loans were almost impossible to obtain, and started heaping the pressure on the government, they made the bounce back loans far too easy to obtain.

There’s loads that have got these loans with no intention to pay them back.

They ll have to pay them back one day though.....most  window cleaners dont need bounce back loans as there is nothing  to bounce back from (luckily!)👍😊

Its business as usual for me.....

They won’t. Just dissolve the limited company and the debt goes with it.

Thats assuming there is no element of fraud involved.

Of course. It’s obviously highly immoral, but also not illegal.

Sorry, whats not illegal ?

Dissolving a failed ltd company.

To dissolve a Ltd Company one would have to inform creditors and they would have to agree. If they don't agree then it won't get dissolved. There is other option like liquidation but they are so expensive route to go down with no guarantee of getting rid of the debt. I'd suggest it would be very difficult to shake off the debt and not so easy as you just mentioned. And i specifically mentioned fraud as a Director is bound by conduct rules. If a Director took monies with no way it was reflected that they could be repaid, it may well be the case that the Director is not personally liable to repay the "bounce back loan"  but he will be liable for his conduct. And that will practically amount to the same thing.
