Title: T Bar channels and Squeegee Rubbers

Having only recently begun to build up a window cleaning round, can someone advise me on the best length for squeegee channel rubbers. Should I cut them the exact same length as the channel (so that the rubber is totally straight within the channel, or should I cut them oversize and then force them back into the channel (so that they have a rippled look within the channel)?  Does either method help in maintaining a smooth and graceful action while maintaining contact with the glass at all times?  I seem to be having trouble with the rubber blade 'grabbing' and jumping off the glass when changing direction. Or is it just practice?  Thanks.

I mostly used a 14inch channel and cut the rubber about 0.25inch longer at both ends, just arc the corners off.  Think squeeky would be the best man to talk to - he lives for the squeegee.

If you use a 12" squeegee this is actualy eleven and a half inches long, so you can buy a 36" squeege rubber and get 3 out of it.

Also you use both sides and if you have a smaller squeegee for small windows, you can cut down the old used 12" rubbers for this channel. Because it is normaly the ends that rip.
