Title: 4040 problem tds reading, any ides anyone

I just got a new 4040, my tap reading is close to 300 tds, i use a combine carbon filter before the 4040, the lowest tds i can get is 42, im sure in the past I used to get it down to 13 tds which i thought was high anyway, any suggestions from any one would be appreciated, cheers.

Run it for a few hours disconnected from di, they can take a while to get the tds down sometimes.

As said - sometimes they take a while to settle down, is it hf4 or hf5 ? Are you using a booster pump and finally where did you buy it

cheers i will run it for longer see what happens done if for 30 mins, Hf4, no booster pump, but i might try that soon.
