Im looking to replace a couple of overly used angle adaptors, seems the only ones out there on the market at the moment are the screw end ones that screws on to the end of the pole. Like in the image below.

Has anyone got a link to the angle adaptors that have a male end which slides in to the pole end please; how are you meant to fit anything else in to the end of a pole with a clamp on the end of the pole?
-
Use these - they don't swell up like the plastic - so never get stuck

Plus this if you must have a thread for the brush.

So whats happened to the pre quick-loq angle adaptors? Are we now forced to buy quick loq from Gardiners as thats the only system they offer?
I would prefer non quick loq, but I cant find the regular old angle adaptor that inserts in to the pole on any other suppliers sites....

You could buy the first of Winpoclean’s links & one of these: https://gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/angle-adapter-euro-screw-on-type-2-gooseneck.html
Just combine the top of the second link with the bottom of the first.
-
I don’t know why you’d not want to use quick loc though? Gardiner’s have certainly sorted out the tolerances between the male and female brush sockets. Personally I’ve never got the other end stuck in a pole but I’m pretty sure they’ve sorted that out now too.
-
Nothing to do with historical quick loq issues. I wasnt aware that had been any. Im just used to the other style of angle adaptor and am wondering what system other suppliers are offering and where the ones Im used to using are available.

You're about 10 years behind Slacky, we're all on QL and quick release angle adaptors now with close coupled tubing and jet capsules! We also have 'widgets' on our keyrings. :)
Try your local antiques dealer/junk shop, you may have better luck with what you're after! ;D

Go for it, try a few new things, it's good for your mojo.
Do you swivel Slacky?
-

Do you swivel Slacky?
Yes! Have been for a while now, wouldn't do it any other way.

This is what I would recommend-

With this

Then the brush of your choice with close coupled jet tube system.👍

Slacks wants one with a stem to go into the pole - but I prefer an Ali one as they don't get jammed up

I do, but I’ve just spent a wad on Gardiners site upgrading all my gear.
-
There’s nothing quick about the quick lok. Nightmare to get off.
-
Can't remember the last time I removed a gooseneck, once they are in they stay in.

They used to be a bit hit or miss in terms of fitting but they fit perfect every time now. Not too tight or too loose.
-
Personal preference is the screw thread - I don’t like quick loc as there is play in the connections and the angle of the brush to socket
I use streamline quick release although the angle is the same fit and finish is better than quick loc

2 out of 6 have a 'wobble'

A few of mine have a slight 'wobble'.
I swap them around; the one that wobbles the least, goes on the brush I use the most.

....I need to get out more!
