how do you guys go about this?

all from WFP of course

do we need to have them switched off or something?

You cannot switch them off , despite what solar Steve said about cleaning panel s that you will die if you haven’t gone on his course , just check for any damage first , then clean with wfp , we have cleaned tens of thousands of them over the years and never had a problem  ,

Not much to it really
I just clean them with my normal wfp brush .
