Do you clean the muck out of the gap where the door opens and slides?
-
Nope , would be there for hours!
-
No i clean the glass the frame and the step.
-
If there’s debris I’ll pick it out and rinse it through , doesn’t take long does it , plus it keeps the drainage holes from blocking which would at some point cause water ingress in the future.
And that of course would be “ THE WINDOW CLEANERS FAULT “. ;D ;D

I might clear a few leaves out of gap and give it a quick wipe with a cloth(before using wfp)if it's a first clean but on normal maintenance cleans.....no........
-
If its just a few leaves & a bit of muck, i clear it, it takes a few seconds.

That’s a job for the Tradman it takes as long as cleaning the back and side of a house if they are bad, awful design.

Pull out leaves/moss etc. with my fingers and then i stick a cloth in the channel for a few seconds to soak up the water and wipe the track clean.
Doesn't take long but looks so much better than just leaving it as it was.

Sometimes I will clean them all depends on how I feel ;D
