£2000! :o
You must be taking the p**s
1. 1x Trolley = £30
2. 1x Battery = £25
3. 5x 25l containers =£20
4. 1 unger 5 section pole =£100
4 1x pump & varistream =£160
5. brush fully fitted with hose £55
6. 30ft of hose to start with =£30
7. DI vessel full with resin. (reconditioned) £55
8. Bag of resin £80
9. Various hozelock conectors £30
10.Some extra hose for filling up £10
Total price = £595.00 (this is for a DI setup)
Add on the price of an RO system if you need to use that to purify water! £200-£300
So please kindly tell me how on earth it costs £2000?

think the RO system works out cheaper, so you can get started with a nice system for 500 quid, alot on here use DIY system built like this, and they work great
i do agree on 1 thing though, 2K for a system, why spent the money

mark. I can build a system to your speck, this way you would not have the teething problems like i did at the first for a small fee. dougies49@hotmail.com

Matt,
Those figures I quoted was only a ball park figure. You can do it cheaper than what I quoted.
See that pole you mentioned from cleantech!, what is it made from? Is it better than the unger pole? Does the hose run up the inside? Might be interested in one for myself!
Cheers

your prices were what i used to use :) i wasnt correcting you, just adding a few points
ref the pole, its the same as the unger, even the locking cones fit each another, the pipe does run up the insides, though it could with a hole cut in the handle end and a hole for the exit, i prefere the pipe outside, much eaiser

Thanks matt!
I use an unger tele plus just now with the hose running up the outside. I would like another pole where the hose is inside. Must be cheap and better quality than the unger. What about glass fibre?
P.S. just a 18 footer or there abouts i'm after.

try varitech on 017520263333 and speak to mike or richard. They had some deals on fibre glass poles. last time I spoke to them I think the price was 110 + vat for 18 footer, but dont quote me on that.
failing that do what I did and keep an eye on e-bay
-
Don't think your that far out on price Steve.
I'm sure it was around that price they told me last time i was down there
