I have a 1" hose for gravity filling backpack from vans tank. I've used a plastic one for a water butt the last few months but now leaks as I cannot tighten it enough to get a good seal, the back nut slips on the thread once its any more than hand tight.
If anybody has done similar where can I get one from ?
I've spent an hour googling and don't seem to be able to find exactly what I need.

I've one of those from an old water tank, I'm going to see tomorrow if I can just buy a flanged back nut for it. All depends if the thread is long enough. Ideally what I was after was this

But in brass.

I would still use the plastic one - wrap thread a couple of times with ptfe tape then put the brass nut on and I would silicone the flange as well
