Deliberated on going electric for weeks and took the plunge and ordered on 6 June. Still waiting 😔. I know its beyond WCW 's control, manufacturing and supply is affected by covid as many other things have been. Just frustrating 😬

Has that been recently Soupy ?
Waterworks site states same as WCW out of stock, lead time 14 days. Thing is they've been saying this for the last 8 weeks and every time I call get told new batch expected in next 7 days. 😒

Fingers crossed then but that's just what they've been telling me the last 6 weeks everytime I've called them.

What you doing in the mean time wrapping the hose round your hand and elbow after each job while you are waiting lol, shouldn’t be allowed to order something when you’ve got to wait that long I don’t agree with that.
-
To be fair they were very apologetic about it and offered to refund me straight away if not prepared to wait any longer. Luckily for me it's an upgrade and not a new van and system I'm wanting to build.

Customers money buying the stock Reach It and the idiot of a man Perry Tait do the exact same thing yeah yeah we’ve got it in stock then you find out until they’ve sold 250 of em they can’t place an order.

Mine got delivered today ;D

Did you have to change the feed side on one of the reels, easy to do ?
The feed on mine is on the right but ideally for an easy swap out from my manual reel it needs to be on the left. No instructions supplied with mine to show how to and not even sure how the belt tensioner works ( although I'm sure I'll figure it out when I've time at weekend to look at it properly )

I ordered handed reels they can assembled that way , there are no instructions ,to adjust the tension on the belt you need to remove the front metal plate with the logo on it and slacken off the bolts that are on the top right hand side then screw up or down the bolt that’ sticks(http://www.cleanitup.co.uk/smf/1596573801_70187FA9-CDD5-4443-98DA-21CC78D55698.jpeg) up above the rail you will see it easily

Thank you splash and dash. I don't know whether it's because I ordered from WCW rather than direct from waterworks but there was no apparent ordering preference for which side I wanted the feed and manual handle. A minor niggle I can overcome but bearing in mind the majority of people are right handed and if this is swap out for a manual reel it's just backward.

Flippin eck , they don’t come close to a pure freedom electric reel. Like daz said , a lot of money for a lot of plastic!

Problem is pure freedom cannot supply a working reel I had two reels off them both faulty and nearly £1600 that’s not acceptable , many have had very similar issues Evan dazmond had to do a 350 mile round trip to get his fixed , they are a nice reel don’t get me wrong but no quality control , also that carbuncle of a screen and box mounted on the front of the reel gets in the way if you have the hoses going through the floor

I like the HD it’s quicker 👍.

Many a time I’ve had a customer come flying round the corner on the end of it wrapped round the ankle, didn’t know till they started going round the reel 🤣🤣🤣.
