The new connectors that Steve is selling, can’t remember the name, but they are an alternative to the recurs fitting, can they be used to connect 6mm pole hose to 8mm reel hose?
-
If it's the slick2 connectors then yes, I've got some, just not got round to fitting them yet. ;D
Mine are for 6mm microbore to pole hose, but there was an option for 8mm minibore.

Thanks ,what I wanted to know is can you use them to join 8mm to 6mm? Rather than 8 to 8 or 6 to 6

You're wrong Spruce I emailed Steve and he said yes they will. Only digfetence is the bore for the hose sttachment on the female connector

Sorry. You are right. I didn't read your question properly. I've already crawled back under my rock.
For some reason I thought you wanted to join 8mm and 6mm minibore and microbore together. I have no idea how i came to that conclusion from your question.

😆 I do, my reel hose is 8mm and the pole hose is 6mm. Currently using a rectus fitting with 8mm barb female connector on the reel and a 6mm hose tail on the pole. My question was can the slick 2 connection do this? Steve from xeed says yes, as the female connector comes with the option of 6 or 8 mm hose tail. So come back out from your rock, your presumption was right (about my question anyway)😄👍
