Next door wanted theres done for peanuts while your thre can you just take my bit out there was more on theres to the right than the actual person who I was cleaning for when I explained theres a lot of equipment to pull through your house and it's a separate job I thought she was going to faint anyway
Would you charge for a separate job for next door or just do a quick run

We might of done it a bit cheaper as we were there but it would still be 3/4 of what ever the normal price should be or the jobs not done simple as that

Personally id charge full whack again . In any case were you to just take out a bit while you were there and not do a proper job they be the very customer who would be ringing you next month telling you downpipe is blocked.

It should have been done for more if it was worse than the original custie , I would be pi55ed being told that “ Hey my gutters were worse than yours and they did mine for less “

Yeah thats what i think in those situations last thing you want to do is leave poor taste in mouth with person who called you out. Id give deduction if it was a joint thing to begin with both custys but otherwise no Chance.

I wish I hadn't done now and charged her a separate job there was a crushed can of larger in there and vape pods the next door rents her rooms out flag buts on food and all sorts
A lesson learn here terrible day yesterday very annoyed at myself

For what it’s worth charge the same or more
I did a house next to another and charged less they spoke and I dropped the price on both houses
Losing money on both and hating the job

Usually the first sentence starts with, 'can you just quickly ...... while you are here.' This means they don't want to pay for it. These are the type of people who want everything for nothing and give nothing back to society.
Same price as next door.
Don't beat yourself up. Every now and again something comes up like this that catches us off guard. Next time it happens you will draw from this experience.
When the gutter vac comes out is when we get this. The next door neighbour who didn't want your window cleaning servcies because she has a window cleaner wants you to just run that quickly through her gutters. 'Sorry Ma'am, this is a service that I offer to my regular window cleaning customers only.'
We still get the odd, while you are here can you just put your brush over the fascias. He or she will usually spring this on you when you have just about finished cleaning the windows. 'Let me just put my brush down and walk around to see how much it will be.' I already know how much to charge but let them see me looking and mentally calculating. Rocking my head side to side and screwing my face up whilst looking at the fascias is also a good stalling technique. I then add the price of the window clean to that and give them the total.
'While I'm here I might as well start the fascias now.' Usually the response is to leave it for now.

I really think they had a tenner in their heads !
I gave her a price of £80 which I believe to be very fair.
her face was a picture and I think she thought I was trying to take the urine!!!!
thank fully she said to leave it !!!!
I just dont get these types .... they spend 30k on a nice conservatory, and begrudge spending peanuts to keep it looking nice !!!!!

My first response is always no we haven't got time today. I am prepared to give them a price when I finish the job that I am working on. It gives me time to think and price up the job properly if they want it at the price fine I will book it in and do it, if not then ok. Never rush pricing or quote on the spot it nearly always bites you on the arse. ;D

i never do an add on job there and then when asked...i price it up then do it when i next clean their windows (usually)....
9 times out of 10 i dont get the add on job...suits me...i dont want to clean them unless im earning good money for doing them.....

Had 1 today wanted a price for facias and soffits next to a new 1st clean today,he said can you price for just that please I’ve got a window cleaner err no I don’t think so I’m not cleaning all that up for his window cleaner thanks.
