i always scrub them off(albeit its taking me longer atm due to using cold water!)....
i guy on another forum says he just leaves them and says you cant see them when the windows dry? ::)roll.......
in a certain light and angle you CAN see snail trails on dry windows IMO...but he says no you cant.....he cant be bothered scrubbing them off........
thoughts chaps?

If I see them I will remove them
-
To be fair i do only notice them when wet, still make sure I remove them

I’m a cold water user , wet the window so you can see the snail trail then turn the water off and scrub in a circular motion. They come off in seconds this (for me anyway :) )

As above, the other guy is a cowboy.

If we can see them so can they. A good percentage of new customers that come my way report that their previous window cleaners weren’t up to much and this is exactly the kind of thing they do notice. Had two last week. They can often tell the ‘Can’t be bothered’ windies from those who enjoy their work even if they are fast workers.
I find scrubbing with a wet brush but without water running seems to remove them a lot quicker for me. Then turn the water on and rinse. On ground floor windows a quick going over with a wet microfibre first is often quicker.

I do this too
I circle one way then the other off in 2secs ;) ;D

I'll always try and get them off if I see them. On occasion they can be easily missed though as they're sometimes only visible if you crouch down and look up at the window. I often do just that on downstairs windows anyway to check for things I may have missed but there will be times I neglect to do so.

I leave em.
Only scrub them if I can see them before cleaning the window when it’s wet.
-
I only scrub things off that i can see
If i cant see it i cant clean it off.
-
I like to clean them off before I see them.

If you follow the pattern of the trail with the brush they go quicker than if you just scrub across them, try it I find it a lot quicker.
Another good thing is to have a bit of bronze wool in your pocket especially in winter- autumn 🍂 If the windows have climbing bushes or plants close to them they hop of them onto the glass the snails do.

Always, you're getting paid to clean windows.
If you don't, you're not doing your job.

Always remove them , if I can see them so can the customer
