I personally think the gov has been vague on purpose about these schemes so they can claw them back and claim "we never said you could just have the money".

Quite crafty but a strategy to recoup money from the start it would seem.

I reckon its that particular date , as hairdressers and the like can open from the 15th of July, so narrows it down even more who will be eligible.

There's talk about some businesses opening on the 4th so that'll rule some of them out. And there's also the school holidays to consider.
I think it's a bit underhanded to change things now.
