Beeing a tight wad, I was thinking of getting a oil tank to clean out for pure water !
would this be a waste of time, or has anyone done it ?
I shall await your thoughts !

Not something i would do,what you need is an ibc thats had food stuff in them not oil
-
Just buy an Ibc. Only fifty quid.
-
sorry I should have said I was thinking of 2000 or 2500 Litres ! to make sure Iv'e got plenty in case of a problem with the ro !
I'm not near any spotless locations ::)roll

dont do it. Get 2 IBC's and stack them
-
Lol forget it you will never get it oil free
-
You can steam clean them to food grade easily enough but I wouldn't bother.
Just get some IBC's.

Old orange juice tanks are good
-
Get a used Ibc tank you can usualy get em for next to nowt
-
roll your eyes all you want ::)roll
ibc is the way to go - I have 4 2 lower with 2 stacked above - the top 2 are linked and then I have a valve to dump into bottom 2 which are linked with 2" hose from the outlets and a sub pumping 1 of them - I actually use 2000 litres a day and never have a problem ::)roll ::)roll ::)roll ::)roll. ;D

not a good idea to use a tank that's had oil in it
