Hi lads. And er ladies. Just wondered what the latest go to is, for updating work etc. Been using Window Cleaning Pro for as long as I can remember, but don't know if it's basically defunct or there's still anyone to contact in the event that I need one on one advice. I'm a creature of habit but I'm wondering if I need to get with the times. Any advice would be appreciated. Thankyou.

We used to use window cleaner pro.
We switched to cleaner planner 5 years ago.
It’s a much better round management system and offers a lot of decent features

cleaner planner is/was based on cleaner planner pro. but has way more features
so give it a try

Aworka is far cheaper than CP (or so I believe). Today, by coincidence, I paid £120 per user to cover the next year. Anyone clarify CP cost for 12 months?
I've never regretted going with Aworka. It's a doddle to use and does everything I need it to do.

https://www.cleanerplanner.com/pricing/
I think they give you a free month if you want to pay annually.

Thanks for your replies. Tbh. I'd forgot I'd posted the question 🤣 I'm just a one man band and probably always will be. So I don't really need a program with too many bells and whistles. Does knyoje know whether the boys at window cleaning Pro still offer any kind of help in the event of the program itself crashing? It's absolutely fine for me but I do worry about my accounts n rounds should anything happen to the pc or program etc.

I'm a one man band and still use George after all these years. No bells or whistles but still remains the best £50 I ever spent regards to my window cleaning business. I back up every time to a USB stick that has all the installation programs saved on it as well in the event of my computer crashing or going bang.

Ive never used any round organizer, just excel , so excuse my ignorance but does George let you update customer details on your phone ?

No, not that I'm aware. Its windows based. A bit antiquated by 2020 standards but I've always liked the fact it was a one off payment with no monthly contract. I have a cheap Windows tablet that is easy to keep in van with me for updating through the day that I use solely for the George program.

I believe i would still use cleaner planner if i was a one man band
just being able to update everything on my phone as im working, rather than having an extra job at the end of the day... amongst others
but the trick is getting the right software for your business
it depends on a lot of choices you make about your business, and also what jobs you find easy (im very disorganised), that influence which software is best for you
i stopped using window cleaner pro when i had issues and they weren't offering any assistance at that time
i do not know if that is still the place
the problem is, the way they are setup with a one off price for ever... its not worth them offering support because they dont earn enough
with options like CP they are being paid monthly, so they need to offer support

I've used George until April this year. Even used a PDA still with 64bit USB hotsync driver. I thought exactly the same as you but boy was it a pleasant surprise with Cleanerplanner. Never looked back. So much more functionality and it's saves me so much time. Too many things to list.
£19 a month for a standard user it's totally worth it.

I just use excel , take a screen shot of each days work for the week just in case I forget where I’m going. Then when I get home I mark off in excel who’s paid. Job done ✅
For me personally , I can’t see any benefit whatsoever in these software programs .

I'm tight though ! ;D :D
I don't like the idea of monthly contracts for anything involving my business.
Not suggesting Cleaner Planner will go the same way but just look at the hikes people have mentioned on here about go cardless. It takes me less than 10 mins end of day to update the days round and takings and usually about the same for the next few days work.

Yep its totally worth it IMO....I too had george with a PDA(that kept breaking!)......CP is much better and super smooth and slick.....
I'm still paying £15 a month for mine.....I think it's only new users that have to pay £19 for the basic monthly plan....

I use Squeegee, very happy with the simplicity and ease of use of it.
