hi guys, I have a few gutter/facias cleans coming up and I read on here somewhere that there is a additive that you can spray/apply on the areas using a back pack
can you please tell me what the product is called, where to get it from online and what is the dilution ratio
thanks in advance
Jay

vyrosl is one tfr

i use virosol....i bought four 5L tubs for around £28 many years ago now from a local janitor supplies place...ive still got a tub left!you dont need much...
1 part virosol to 10 parts water is my normal dilution rate

Any degreaser will work tbh plus a splash of cream cleanser on your brush.

The one from screwfix is good

As above, Screwfix no nonsense degreaser, great stuff for pvc and first cleans on windows.

If using virosol make sure its not really hot n sunny because if you get it on windows and let it dry you wont get it of windows that easy

I’ve got a Fascia job coming up and the surrounds of a porch roof. It looks like white UPVC but it’s like a hard type of plastic. Looks like there are ingrained stains(discoloured look). Is there anything stronger or better than virosol that would work?

I would squirt some CIF cream cleaner on my brush and really work it in(with my water off)if the white plastic is grey....its great for whitening plastics but it is slightly abrasive but ok to use on old plastic.....itll look 10 times better than before anyway!👍

There's a big difference between cleaning fascias and doing a upvc restore. The job we quote is for a clean. Restore is much more expensive and we don't offer that service. Sometimes the only way to restore the plastic is to replace it.

Yep i agree you can’t restore UPVC that’s gone too far in terms of it being abandoned for too long but I will try the CIF cream idea to at least clean it as best as I can. Thanks for the tip 👍
