The area I work is just under 300tds and some customers have been watering hanging baskets and splashing windows.....what a mess it leaves behind!
A customer was rinsing his car yesterday and when it dried it was a white, chalky mess!so I rinsed his car windows for him.....
Another chap(out of work barber)has been cleaning some of my customers conny roofs and fascias and then rinsed the windows leaving them with hard water stains..... ::)roll......
The area I work has only been a hard water area for the last 12 months or so.....
What will get these marks off?Unger rub out,?winsol?bronze wool?
-
Does hot water not get the marks off ??? ;D ;D

Absolutely not....not when its baked on by the hot sun.......its calcium deposits as well as other minerals etched onto the glass.....

I just use some spray de-scaler, viakal or similar, couple of squirts little scrub with a dry brush then rinse it all away after a couple of minutes.

cheap vinegar
Pretty sure Daz only keeps Balsamic.
-
Ettorre Mud with a bronze wool pad.
-
I get the same culprits each year, usually the older cuties with bedding plants and roses in front of their windows ;D
A spray bottle of limelite applied to my brush sorts it out.

Good luck with that Daz 😂 I had one customer who i said I’d do that for, all over her front porch. I quickly deceived it’s a nightmare job and it won’t stop her carrying on using the sprinkler anyway.
Just explain this to them and let them know what product THEY can use. Don’t let it become your problem.

its only for the odd customer that mentions it(if they do).... a quick squirt of viakal, clean a few other windows then come back to it..........if that wont get it off then at least ive tried....
