We have found that a 105/110/115 amp hour leisure battery is more than enough to supply the needs of 2 operators. We only run 2 pumps atm so have a standard leisure battery.
If you have other additional power users such as electric reels and a diesel heater then you need a combo battery. It will be a class b battery with a cca value. Its half way between a leisure battery and a starter battery. Its not a perfect starter or leisure battery but it will supply the extra current demands of say an electric reel.
We recommend your battery is fully recharged with a proper leisure battery charger at least every second day in summer and every day in winter.
We have always had good service from Numax batteries. But they will not honour their warranty with window cleaning use. Most of the other battery manufacturers have the same clause in the warranty clauses. We are classed as battery abusers.
The other consideration is the size of your battery tray/holder if that applies. If you can only fit an 85amph battery then its no use ordering a bigger battery as it won't fit.

You can get leisure batteries from any caravan accesories store, or from GoOutdoors, but atm you will only be able to buy online because everything will be shut. Go outdoors have website as does towsure, ir try eBay.

It doesn’t matter what you go for if you are just running pumps and electric reels,a diesel heater sucks AMPs like a high class hooker.

I just get the cheapest off ebay. Usually about £70 for 100/110ah. They last about a year, 2 if lucky.

I use the XV31MF , it has no mention of being class B
But they do a DC31MF which is listed as class B , can’t see what the difference is other than maybe the DC stands for Deep Cycle , but surely the XV is too !
Spruce will know ;D
