So this is biggest conservatory i have been told to quote. Not even sure wanna take it on looks so awkward and pain in the ass lol I charge 100 to £120 for standard conservatory. But this is lot bigger just wanted your guy’s opinion on what you would charge
Thanks guys
😀
-
looks like you'd need to climb to clean the back of it?
if thats the case i would get a sandman we know to climb and clean it
if there was no climbing, but that size i'd be looking for about £135 or more (no less)
depends if they are a customer of ours, and if it was nearby.
if they weren't i'd charge higher
-
I'm OUT, the access to the Con Roof nearest to the house is very bad, but if i was doing it with the right equipment,
( Conservatory roof ladders) i would want 300 pound minimum to clean roof glass plus the Con windows outside only.
-
If you can get a ladder up either side it’ll be pretty straightforward.
-
That’s not a 300 quid conservatory Lal there’s a valley on the other side you easily get to all of it some from 1 side some from the other, the plastic that separates the panels of glass have to cleaned from both sides which make it a bit more awkward but it ain’t a 300 clean.
-
I’d clean that to a spotless Finnish in about an hour, obviously I wouldn’t and don’t charge per hour but that’s an hours work.
If you clean it and you are thinking of charging a lot don’t do it when they are in it you’ll be drinking tea- coffee for ages trying to make it look like it was hard work, piece of pee to clean roofs like that especially with hot water.
-
Its Glass :-\
If it was plastic, id say a couple of hours but probably price it for 3 for good measure
Ive been caught out with glass a few times, lichen that is almost impossible to do wfp
Best bet for that is conny ladders
I wouldnt bother these days, too busy and if i`d probably underprice it.
-
300 🤣🤣🤣 blimey Lal the price you get for the houses you do are probably not close to my prices but you certainly make up for it on the roofs pal 🤣🤣.
-
On a roof like that if it has lichen on it it makes no difference, you can only comment and say it would be very difficult to clean if you have a hot water system.
That roof with dog poo human poo elephant 🐘 poo and covered in lichen would come off with ease if you used hot water,I’ve done many many like that like I say walk in the park stuff try doing a 30-40ft Antrim glass roof with plastic glass panel dividers that are proper geeen, that’s what you call tricky and difficult to get proper clean.

So NWH, you would clean that to perfection in an Hour, How much would you charge for it ?
-
Come on we all Nigel often boast about doing conservatories free - he likes to do this because apparently he charges soooo much (lol lol) for the window clean...
So he would price it up as £180 for the windows with a free conny clean thrown in

Ive not used hot but ive come a cross a few glass roofs that were extremely difficult to clean wfp due to mainly the angle and not being able to get pressure on. On top of this they take forever to rinse, bits keep coming out of the sides for hours. I wont touch them anymore i only do plastic ones.
-

NWH, how would you know my prices are not close to your prices, You don't know what i charge for a House, you are
only assuming you know.
-
Lal not 300 quid pal I’ll be honest with you I do clean them but I’d rather bang out houses at the rate I do and at the price I do,charging 300 for jobs like that on an existing property you already do will set alarm bells ringing with them.
Like I say it’s an hours work that for an experienced hot water fed poler,it’s all about perception it’s a psychological game with customers,I could charge a 150 notes for a house that takes not a lot of time but let’s look at it like this yeah, stand back and look at the house it’s a big house it warrants a good price.
I could charge 150 for the house yeah then say I want 300 to do that roof,I could be away and onto the next job in 2.5 hours how does that look.
I do a lot of wealthy customers but regardless of that it would take the pee,I would much rather clean there house for a very good price and do something like that for not a lot of extra money,I’d prefer to clean it off every year or so for not a lot and keep them happy paying me 150 a clean for an hour cleaning there windows.
I find using your head every now and again keeps you work, people ain’t stupid you start taking the pee they’ll pack you off quicker than you can say stay at home protect the NHS save lives 🤣🤣🤣🤣
-
I do roofs like that once a year for 40 quid and a coffee, they pay me £2000 a year to clean there house though.
-
Gomo if you’ve not used hot you won’t know yourself if you’ve got jobs like this, heat a knife up later and stick it in the butter it’ll give you an idea hot water was made for jobs like this.
Listen to the debate this roof will take 3 hours ish it’s not close to 3 hours ,clean with hot water it’s an hours work clean it with cold and endless detergent you can double that time.

Like I say an hours work for anyone who knows what they are doing,a coffee and a few extra quid let em think they are getting something for nothing every now and again.
Are they getting something for nothing not really because the way I look at it when I turn up and fly round the odd day throughout the year they’ll turn a blind eye,you sting em for 300 notes for that little bit of glass they’ll be watching you like YouPorn.

Let’s have some constructive honest opinions not just a sly post of a pathetic put down just because you may not like me,regardless of what business you are in you need to use some sense.
KS says go for it Lal 🤣🤣🤣 good luck m8 with that 300 notes for that,if I was the husband of the house I’d beat you off my property if my Mrs had just handed you 300 notes for that lol.
If someone pays you 300 for that they are soppier than a sack m8 🤣🤣🤣.

Hi NWH, you are sliding away from the question that was asked by the poster (How much you charging for this conservatory? )
not the House, the Conservatory, you are assuming he already does this property, we don't know that, Ive cleaned a lot of
Cons over the years, ive made a lot of mistakes with pricing over the years, some are straight forward & easy to do, but a lot
of them are not straight forward & easy to do, especially if they have been neglected and not cleaned for years, so there for
they have to be priced accordingly, ive been using Hot water for over 2 years now, so even with chemicals and hot water i find some of these Cons still time consuming and a PITA to do.
-
I couldn’t care whether he does the house or not that’s never a £300 clean m8 one off one in one out,if I cleaned that for 300 they’d be saying look at that bloke that’s just cleaned our roofs he’s running 🤣🤣🤣🤣 🏃♂️
-
No point in stinging em once and losing the regular house clean it happens all the time, that 300 won’t seem much once you’ve lost the 6 weekly clean.
-
i would turn the job down myself.......the only way i would do this job would be if next door(on the right)had a solid flat roof(they dont)and would allow me stand on it and clean the glass thats sloping towards the house from it.....
id want £150....its a 2 hour job and would use approx 200L of hot water...
nigel is talking out of his arse.....he seems to get worse as the years go on........ ::)roll ;D
if you do take the job on you ll regret it.....itll be a pain without access from a flat roof...you ll have to pole from a ladder at an awkward angle for the glass nearest the house.......leave well alone unless you enjoy aches and pains!
ive cleaned a fair few roofs like this over the years.....
-

absolutely no way would you clean that to a good standard in an hour......remember the finials and the plastic takes time and just the awkwardness of cleaning some of the panels...its defo a 2 hour job from setting up to packing away
-

Did one exactly like this two weeks ago, even the same number of panels. I also have hot water and 12 years experience. An hour my arse.

Two hours is spot on Daz.

We would be £275 for the whole of the outside of the conservatory but would do the house windows as well that would be a one off job price , if it was a regular customer we would be £150-175 for the roof only I , the one in the pictures below was £195 and took 2 hours (http://www.cleanitup.co.uk/smf/1588787687_F98CAB88-E5AD-48C9-9C77-8066E3AD40E9.jpeg)(http://www.cleanitup.co.uk/smf/1588787687_351A788D-BC5E-493A-9C1D-85AEDC31FED5.jpeg)(http://www.cleanitup.co.uk/smf/1588787686_85C52382-5E0D-4A1F-AB46-1E52A9978E7C.jpeg)(http://www.cleanitup.co.uk/smf/1588787685_CAC96E0A-D58D-4DFC-8E9B-132CD6941219.jpeg)(http://www.cleanitup.co.uk/smf/1588787683_83A15BA1-6C7F-43F5-890C-AD5DFAA94B3F.jpeg)

That first one in the picture an hour easy for me with hot water, cleaned loads like that someone still sitting at home with their mummy 2-3 hours maybe. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
-
£200 ALL GLASS FRAMES AND CILLS AND
FRONT AND BACK WINDOWS £300 inside and out every 8 to 12 months not much furniture to move mornings work but that's cream work
-
Sting em once no more honey 🍯
-
If you are cleaning that roof inside I wouldn’t say that was cream work, more like back breaking work that’s flipping it all on its head if that’s inside and out on that roof.
Now if you were talking inside and out for that 1st picture that’s a different kettle of cod,the inside of it is where the work is in my mind.
-

You can be quiet too Daz you and that load of 20 quid a pop jobs 🤣🤣🤣 one minute you’re cleaning roofs for a lot of money and then you drive off down the road for a couple of 20 quid jobs. 🙄🤣

£180 and that’s only if the valley is weight bearing, I do one annually the exact same size and walk down the valley, easy.
If it’s not weight bearing I’d politely decline.
Would love to see NWH clean this to a spotless finish within an hour. What a load of 💩.
-
He'd be running around like a blue-arsed fly, tripping over his hose, knocking plant pots flying and wondering if 'Bodgit and Scarper' really was the best name for his new window cleaning business.

So would I, I now realise why his customers are so happy to see him, when he turns up he wears his large curly wig, a large red sponge attached to his nose, baggy trousers and size 38 shoes 🤡
I bet the custy's kid really love him

2 grand a year at £150 a clean?
How often do you clean?

Why do you say how often do I clean I might only clean a job 4 times a year for 2000,what am I gonna do put the window cleaning job in jeopardy coz I got greedy with a P**S easy clean like that I don’t think so.
Do the odd job for a little it goes a long way to you keeping it you never know it might work,it has for me 😉
-
I don’t mind you bullying me you lot 🤣🤣 believe me when I say I love a bully, have any of you got tattoos on you’re necks 🤣🤣🤣

Saying that probably not wouldn’t look good with the old door knocking 🤣🤣 💩 dear me.

So a £150 window cleaning job is now a £500 window cleaning job?
And that's without the conservatory?

Well you are in Ireland, so you are ☘.
-
NWH admitted a few years back he cleans a conservatory roof for one of his accounts for free.
-
I like the fact that you’ve taken the time to look over my comments that means a lot, hows daytime telly you had enough yet.
Who’s talking about 150 jobs that was just an example,I was simply lovely saying who cares if I clean a little roof like that for a coffee and a chat I have domestics that over the course of the year pay that amount.
What am I gonna do say I want 300 notes for a little add on like that when I’m doing more than well out of em anyway, come on use your loaf Holly Willoboobys getting to you try looking at her face when she’s on the telly 🤣
-
NWH admitted a few years back he cleans a conservatory roof for one of his accounts for free.
Exactly we’ll said I was just about to bring this up the first picture I have cleaned roofs like that for free as a gesture for there ongoing business,it works give it a try it has served me well.
Tortoise and the hare and all that, give a little get a lot in return they give me business all year round it allows me to call as and when clean as quick as I wish and when I drive off I’m still a lovely chap 😉.
-
Tortoise and hare?
-
Sorry did quote the scripture correctly 👍
-
If I had a regular window cleaner and he said he wanted 300 to clean my roof like that it would make me feel sad,I’d stand and think and I thought he was a half decent bloke before that just shows you never judge because you never know.
-
there is absolutely no way i would i clean that roof for free even if id cleaned the customers windows for 30 years!...its a 2 hour job and harder work than window cleaning for sure.....plus youll use loads of water.....
i think nigel is seriously losing the plot! ::)roll ;D
or maybe he s just a bell end by nature..... ;D
-
A belled end it’s not bell it’s belled Daz,I’ve cleaned many little freebies over the years and yes I’ve cleaned roofs that size for free too.
If a job and a domestic job is paying you say 2000 a year in my mind I think it’s worth,I don’t think actually it is worth it.
A little bit of kindness goes a long way it doesn’t even have to actually be kindness it just needs to look like it is,I might be in 1 place for a 300 clean it’s not an overly long job what difference does it make to me if I take a bit of time out of my day once in a blue moon to scrub a roof clean,it’s not about the money always it’s about keeping the good ones happy.
If it was a P**S pot of a job they’d be paying for it,I’m talking about jobs that give you toothache if you lose em.
-

Don't be accepting coffee during a pandemic. Even for a 'a little add on'.

I’ve excepted many coffees over the past 2 months I love my corona coffee,1000s lost if I hadn’t had worked I couldn’t sit at home and watch it P**S away it’s not me gotta keep fighting they’ve already started talking about furloughed workers not being paid past the deadline lol.
-
A 25k grant and furloughed pay for workers won’t save many it’ll make no difference bills still backing up like a constipated bull, come October some might regret not working some might not we will see.

I’m always desperate and as much as you don’t like me and my comments you know I’m right, sometimes I know it’s annoying but you’ve just got to face it 👍 👌

Before I saw the big picture and thought this was only going to be short term I thought a couple of weeks so be it,once they started banding about 12-16 weeks that was enough for me thanks. As soon as that little Kranky woman step onto the podium and we done some food shopping I was back out and have been ever since, some people are scared of there own shadow.
As I’ve always said with all this if you shop you’ve got a far bigger chance that you will drop, shopping shows how irresponsible people really are coughing and sneezing and proving that people can’t measure or know what 2 meters is.

That’s the problem when you talk so much nonsense, you invariably forget what you’ve said and end up tripping yourself up....in your case, repeatedly🤣

You love me you keep responding to my posts I must make your 💩 itch don’t worry you’ll get over me,just listen you might learn something.

I don’t think you understand Larry how I do things and what I’ve already charged m8 before they may get a little freebie,no one gets a freebie so to speak you can do things for people so they think they are it’s called manipulation lol 👍.

Do you manipulate a lot? It’s bad for your eyesight you know.
