A good article in the guardian today..
It’s written for employees but useful for us employers too..
It has an interesting Q on whether employees can refuse to return to work...
It says the government has published clear boundaries for health and safety and distancing etc. If your employees following these then you should be in work or could face unauthorised leave

I can’t think of anything worse than sitting on my arse for nearly 6-8 weeks so far I’d go loopy,if they still don’t want to come back to work they either think sod it he’s getting my money for me at the moment.
Saying that the most likely reason is they are lazy barstards making the most of it.

Me and my wife has our 24 year old daughter living at home with our 11 month old granddaughter i told my wife if i had stopped in for the last 6 week i would have had a mental breakdown as daughter is always dumping little one on us 😭😭😭

Nightmare I’m trying to work as per usual not working since early March just being at home would be like being in prison,some people love it as long as they are getting free money.
The closer it gets to having to go back the more people are saying we shouldn’t go back yet lol,one thing about this Virus it shows up all the lazy arses 🤣.

I read that earlier too. My refusenik returns tomorrow. He’s not going to be happy though as there’s written warning sat on my desk for him.

No excuses now......your employees should be back to work if their not ill and feel well(one man,one van)and stick to outside cleaning......

They are talking about letting people back into pubs today but you couldn’t for the life of you go out and start cleaning some windows lol,I wouldn’t even bother to get involved in arguments whether or not you can work outside now.

🤣 it was on this morning they had camera crews in a pub that has put screens up between tables and have put tape round chairs so they are not supposed to moved outside the tape,download this morning if you can afford catch up TV.

Changed the turbo on the van it didn’t need changing but the turbo gasket was leaking oil so I thought I’d change it anyway as it’s a ball ache again if it did happen to just go anytime soon,anyway shouldn’t you and the other flock of sheep be out in the field by now.

🤣 no m8 I wouldn’t attempt it 8 hours to change it probably the worst most difficult thing to change on a Transporter.

I'm proberly wrong but I don't think there's owt you can do about it until you get th all clear id give him the crud jobs when he returns.
