Does anyone know the type and where I can get the heat exchanger used in the ionic hotbox

I think it’s the same as most other Webasto units Varitech Grippa etc they are all the same,ridiculously priced though.
If You’d had said this a few weeks ago I’d have sent you 1 I had in the garage,I can’t remember off the top of my head but they are over a couple of hundred quid I’m sure.

Grippa will send you one or Varitech.

They don’t recommend it but you can to a degree wash them out with a light solution although they don’t want you too because they want you to buy a new 1,very tiny perforations inside them they do take a while to get blocked though.
New plate exchanger and a new burner and you have a new heater in theory.

If you contact these guys via their ebay store they will be able to do something cheaper. You will have to give them measurements and fitting sizes, ie 3/4" and/or 1/2"
