Chilling out, it's Easter. Waste of time trying to go anywhere as police are out in force catching tourists trying to get into the south west and checking tourist spots. Walking my dog to the nearest one anyway today as it's gorgeous weather

Been on radio police in Scarborough and surrounding sea side resorts have been posting pics of empty beaches and towns but it will be likes of southerners to cause total lock down 😬😬😬

Id rather stay in my house anyway then go to Scarbrough ;D
-
I've been taking a few weeks off work myself since the lock down so I haven't/won't be working this Easter. Plan to return to work in a week or so though all being well. Ordinarily though I do normally work on both Good Friday and Easter Monday if the customers are okay with it.

That doesn’t make sense. Are you saying you’re going to Scarborough after staying in your house?

Ridiculous sweeping statement.

Apart from the few hundred parties in Manchester?
Get a grip man, people are flouting the rules all over the country.
What are your news sources, “the Beano”?

The pointy heads calculated that to stay under the curve, that we'd need at least 50% compliancy from the UK population.
People are like cats; very difficult to control. Even in India where they're using violence they're still high rates of non-compliance (probably because the poor are hungry and desperate).
But we must be at least 50% compliant, as a country? Surely?

What relevance has that got to do with what I said?
Or are you just getting involved to prove how ‘clever’ you are?
In context to the first post, I put that it wasn’t just down south, there are instances all over the country.
I didn’t say loads, I just said it was happening all over the country.
As you so often eloquently say, context is key.

The context being it doesn't really matter if there's some non-compliance, as long as most of us are following the guidelines.
So there's no need to get hysterical about it.
Or wet your knickers about my post. ;D

Ah, I see...
You just need to feel involved.
Cue some “character defect” nonsense.

I normally find out all the stuff that's wrong with me when someone can't argue their case. ;D
And "people might be flouting the rules all over the country" but given that we're a population of 67 million, you're going to get quite a few.
No need to get hysterical about it.

Not necessarily.
What if 55% complied and the other 45% all went to huge gatherings and spread the virus all around the country?

We'd get the army to use area weapons on 'em all.

You couldn't because the army are part of the 55% that complied.
