I thought it was Man U fans chasing you down the street.
I couldn't chase anyone because it would have ruined my Flock of Seagulls hair do. I couldn't sing 'I Ran'.

You just need to move your database over to the ZX Spectrum ;D

I opted for a Vic 20 because I thought it just looked better than a ZX Spectrum.
That was my first big mistake in life.

Cor blimey just think back then it would have been literally endless the amount of customers you could have had if you’d have wanted, even in the early 90s if you wanted to gain 1000s of customers it would have been a breeze compared to today.
In a lot of areas and I mean a lot back then there were a handful of window cleaners servicing a massive area.

I had a round in the seventies
Got given it
Hadn't thought that it might be worth something
How times change
I bought a small round in 1999, paid £1800.
-
It was always your PATCH in those days as well

There was a severe recession in the 80's, too.
Some areas never recovered from that and the era that followed.
A bit like now because "bands won't play no more....."

I might get a Commodore 8...……... When I'm 64.
But that was the 60's and not the 80's.

They were ok The Flock of Seagulls but, as you say, they are more remembered for their image.
Do you remember Leeds getting to the FA Cup semis in '87? You beat Wigan in the quarter finals and your reputation went before you back then. Me and my mates sorted loads of Leeds fans out with tickets for the Wigan end much to the annoyance of the police and the national press!
I remember something on the front page of The Mirror (http://www.cleanitup.co.uk/smf/1586370854_lipsrsealed[1].gif).

AIDS, famine and Stock, Aitken and Waterman.
The Miners' Strike, Orgreave and Hillsborough.
Never forgive, never forget.
Oh, and The Smiths.
Oh oh, and the riots- Toxteth, Moss Side and Brixton.

How do u think Maggie would have handled the virus?
Herd immunity among the workers (those that were still working) and lockdown and then a vaccine for everyone else.
She was more efficient at thinning the herd than the virus anyway.

There was no touting; we sold them all at face value and we got a few pints and a game of pool for our trouble. Some Leeds fans we just lent our ID to. We had a few fresh faces doing the odd run, too, when they realised what was going on.
Twice I got bollocked and the second time I was told stay away from the ground on match day.
They were all sound lads we met from Leeds; every one.

Hideous decade. Apart from the PM. She was ace.
She’s reincarnated as Bojo. ;D
