Title: DI Vessels

just thought i would post a topic about window cleaning.
i have a 400 litre double di system in my van.
when i posted pictures a few months ago some of you were quite shocked that i had my vessels on board.
this got me thinking i would never run out of water i could fill when i wanted .How do you guys operate and have you not got di in your vans.

.....it’s in your t’s & c’s that you are allowed to use customers water? Residential customers?

Post by: dazmond on April 07, 2020, 03:35:36 pm: i have a 500L tank and DI at the end of my working day from home(takes around 30 mins)so no DI vessels on board.....i never need anymore than 500L a day as i only work part time hours.....

I think it's widely accepted that you get better resin life with a slower throughput of water. Resin volume, flow rate and input TDS will all be relative factors. What's doesn't appear to be known is just how much difference to resin economy it makes. I think the difference will be less noticeable the lower the input TDS is.

Yeah. We don't have a window cleaning round any more we clean gutters and render mainly, this is why we have it in our T & C's, you wouldn't get away with it just window cleaning.

i dont think i could fill from my customers outside taps on a regular basis...its doesnt sit right with me and comes across as unprofessional IMO......

And not to mention your customers water will be 350ppm like mine so you’d need a RO. 😂
