We will support businesses by deferring Valued Added Tax (VAT) payments for 3 months. If you’re self-employed, Income Tax payments due in July 2020 under the Self-Assessment system will be deferred to January 2021.

I sent it to two windy mates on whatsapp and they said much the same as you ... :-[
At least it means that there isn't a bill for several thousand pounds at the end of July just when we're (hopefully) coming out of this nightmare.
