Title: Hypo
Post by: nathankaye on March 19, 2020, 01:07:01 pm
I have posted the same on pressure washing pages on facebook.
I normally use Bonnymans up in scotland for my supply of hypo. At the moment they show no stock on their website.  Does anyone have a different supplier of good stock and know if they are still supplying to businesses // general public?
Im in need for end of april/1st week in march

I've used Bonnymans, before and previously when they had no stock they let you order it and they put you on their list for when stocks return. I did this by telephone.

Im dubious to use them. Last time I ordered some, 50 ltrs to do a soft was job that should have used 25, I ended up using the full 50.  It certainly wasnt 15% strength nor 10%.

I'm not really bothered its for my own use in the foreseeable downtime from work   ;). I hadn't even looked in to the online prices tbh I just buy it each year for the backyard but thanks for the heads up. Everything is cheaper online but not always so convenient, especially just now.

Ah, I use 14-15%.

Otherwise I’d bite your arm off!

There are two pool suppliers round my way, both charging the same (ish) over £20 for 20 litres.

Then there is earnest doe, who charge even more than that and its 10% stuff!

I haven’t been able to find anywhere else locally, £12 a pop is cheap as chips! Well, almost.

I know that now but read above its for my own use. I don't need 20 ltrs. I'm not bothered at £12 for one annual job on my own property. But I'll know in future if I ever decide to offer it as a service.  ;)

Everything cleaning related like bleach, hypo, or disinfectant related is going through the roof on price.  Everyday supplies are dwindling even things like Domestos, Jeyes, Parazone is become increasingly difficult to get.  I found some Disinfectant cleaner in the back of my warehouse 73 bottles and it was gone within hours once we got it listed on EBay, Amazon and my Website.
