Title: pure freedom electric hose reel wiring

I have this reel and its wired straight through to battery , my mate has bought one today and its got a wiring diagram showing it wired through the flow controller but I don't understand why any options welcome thanks

A hose reel wired through a flow controller?

PF have a speed regulator controller which has anti snag features, soft-start and anti spooling.

I'm guessing its a wiring diagram for this intelligent control system.

all good it was a mistake on my part ,the wiring diagram was for the reel speed controller which you don't need anyway because its prewired .

I had my pure freedom hose reel controller stolen while working round some terrace houses.
Had to buy new one but set it the replacement controller behind my tank
