Not many openly  complain. Had one in spring last year when I put hers up from £12 to £14.
I did retort that her state pension goes up at least 2.5% every year and I hadn't put hers up since she started 7 years ago.

when did other windows cleaners start running your business for you?.....dont take any notice....if your doing a good job and your reliable and been going for years(and you ve not put them for years) put them up....most customers are not going to jump ship over a quid or two.

have a good look at your round and when you last put some of them up then compare them with the uk inflation calculator......ill guarantee you ll be putting them up or else you ll be working for less than you were 5 years ago.

This is actually very handy for adjusting prices. Cheers!

I put half of my round up last year by a £1 each. Lost about 3 or 4. Rest of them ill do this year.

I'm going to go for £2 on some of the ones I don't like doing or are underpriced this time. There's the odd one that needs to go up a fiver. Which on a £10 job is a lot but I can't keep doing some of them they are well below my average.

It is nerve racking

I think you let him off £1 - £16 in 2013 (6 years ago) is £18.47 in 2019 (2.4% inflation) but we're in 2020 so another 2.4% (44p) = £18.91 (£19) LOL!

I'm sure Cleaner Planner must have a module to increase rates by X% - just increase by inflation (normally around 2.5%) each year

I'm thinking of putting my prices up but surely putting your prices up shouldn't just be to keep pace with inflation.

Surely it's about making more profit.  So it should be inflation plus X

No not for me.....I'm not being greedy....I earn plenty for my needs but want to keep up with the cost of living.thats it.i already earn a good wedge....if you put them up too much your gonna lose them anyway...its a fine line IMO....
